Chocolate Almond “Truffles”

Three ingredients is all it takes to make these better for you truffles. Shape into balls,or shape into football shapes for a game day treat!

 

Prep time: 20 minutes

Cook time: 3 to 5 minutes

Chill time: several hours

 

1 individual cup Chobani Milk and Cookies, Boston Cream Pie, Toasted Coconut

     or Vanilla Zero Sugar Yogurt

1 cup scooped and lightly packed fine almond flour

1 bag semi sweet or dark chocolate chips

Melted white chocolate chips (optional garnish)

 

Stir together almond flour and yogurt in a medium bowl. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave at  30% power or in a small bowl set over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Add to almond flour mixture and stir until well mixed. Cover and refrigerate for several hour or until firm. (May be prepared several days ahead.) Shape into balls or other desired shapes. Decorate with melted white chocolate as desired.

 

Recipe tip:

Place white chocolate in a small zipper seal bag and microwave at 30% power until melted, checking ever 30 seconds. Snip off the end and pipe onto the truffles.
