Berry Walnut Tortilla Stacks
Add a small drizzle of honey to each layer if you prefer a sweeter taste.
Prep time: 15 minutes
8 street taco size flour tortillas
6 tablespoons 1/3 less fat (Neufchatel) cream cheese, softened
6 tablespoons chopped California walnuts
2/3 cup thinly sliced Naturipe strawberries
1/2 cup Naturipe blueberries
Place 6 tortillas on a board and spread each with 1 tablespoon of cream cheese. Sprinkle with walnuts, then top evenly with strawberries and blueberries. Stack 3 tortillas, then top each with a plain tortilla. Press down firmly to compress ingredients. Cut each stack into 8 wedges. Makes 4 servings.
Recipe tip: For a more grown up stack, sprinkle each layer with a teaspoon of minced jalapeno pepper.
